RABA Welcomes Colas Danmark A/S as new sponsor

RABA is happy to announce the appointment of Colas Danmark A/S  as a RABA sponsor. Colas Danmark A/S are experts in the preservation and extension of the service life of asphalt pavements. 

They have more than 20 years of experience working in airports and are now experts at solving airport challenges regarding stone loss and F.O.D on the runway, taxiway and apron, while effectively meeting the specified standards for airport surface friction. 

Colas Danmark A/S offer solutions for preservation of asphalt by applying Colas Active Sealing to stop the degradation of the asphalt pavement. Thus, their treatment extends the service life of asphalt pavements by up to 5 years by regenerating the flexibility and adhesive properties of the binder and adding fresh binder and asphalt mortar to the wearing course. 

The unique preservation process: 

• Colas Active Sealing is a bitumen emulsion based product that is applied cold
• The product mix is adjustable during application and is optimised continuously according to the conditions of the asphalt
• Sand spreading with fine aggregate specially made for airports with no oversized stones
