RABA have issued the following response to the Heathrow Commitment.

From the 4th June, flying three-times weekly, VLM Airlines will, for the first time, provide the people of Aberdeen with a direct service to Belgium.

In an article on 12 June regarding Heathrow expansion, The Sun newspaper referenced an open letter sent by air bosses including RABA Chairman, Neil Pakey. An excerpt from the letter can be found here.

The anna.aero-RABA HubLAB Heathrow Connectivity Conference took place at the third British-Irish Airports EXPO on 12 June in collaboration with the 40 UK airports of the Regional And Business Airports Group (RABA). The EXPO, which was hosted by Heathrow at London Olympia, was attended by more than 3,095 visitors from 12-13 June.

Doncaster Council has given the green light for the further expansion of Aero Centre Yorkshire – the 1,600 acre site around Doncaster Sheffield Airport (DSA), a member of the RABA Group.
