RABA Group is led by the current chairman, Neil Pakey, supported by vice chairs, who collectively form the Steering Group. Day to day management and secretariat support is provided by Northpoint Aviation Services Ltd.
Formal full membership meetings are held two or three times a year (one being the AGM). They are sometimes held in conjunction with other industry events (such as Connect 2015 for our last AGM) so as to more easily facilitate attendance of members.
Additional member meetings are also held to reflect the activity programme and to resolve agreed policy stances. Members are also able join these additional meetings by conference call to help maximise participation.
The group undertakes research relevant to the sector and prepares reports and responses to policy and other consultations. Reports are disseminated and profiled through the group’s extensive national and industry press contacts, via press releases, distribution by individual members regionally and locally and in meetings with Government ministers, senior officials, MPs and other elected representatives. Occasional updates provide a digest of relevant industry news for members.
